Examination and Records

Examinations and Records is one of the three Units of the Directorate of Academic Affairs.

This Unit is very important in any Tertiary Institution because it houses what the Institution markets i.e. results.  The Unit is statutorily saddled with the responsibility of monitoring of all the Examinations and sees to processing of Results, Certificates and Transcripts of Students and Organizations.  It ensures that Examinations are conducted in line with laid down rules and regulations.

Accordingly, all results are processed for approval by Academic Board and moment they are approved, the approved results are taken to the custody of Examinations and Records semester by semester.  As such, upon graduation the unit process Certificates and Transcripts of Students.  Students are exited out of the Institution by this Unit.

This is the reason why people refer to the Directorate of Academic Affairs as the gate to the Institution.  A unit of it which is Admissions handles the admission of students into the Institution and another unit of it which is Examinations and Records serve as exit by giving them results and Transcripts.

Thank you.
